"Whatever It Takes"

About American Society of Karate

American Society of Karate started in 1970 in Houston, Texas by founder, Bill Gray with the goal,

"not to be the largest, but to be the best."

The American Society of Karate (A.S.K.) is a top organization under the Bill "Superfoot" Wallace system. In its 54 years, the A.S.K. grew to be one of the largest superfoot schools of its time. Bill Gray made karate accessible to many by partnering with local recreation centers as a way to offer karate classes at an affordable rate. In the American Society of Karate, we stand by our motto of "whatever it takes."
